Last night we ventured out into the cold to enjoy Disney on Ice at Nationwide Arena. We ate dinner at Red Robin. It was good. We hardly ever spend that much on food for all of us. I think the kids enjoyed it. Also, the kids all wore some costumes. Claire wore Ariel, Chloe borrowed a Cindrella dress and Collin borrowed a knight outfit. He only wore the underneath part of it though. As we were walking in the bitter cold to get inside one of the salesmen yelled out- "I wear spaceman pants!" Over and over. I didn't realize he was making fun of Collin's pants! It was pretty funny though- cause you try to ignore those guys anyway. Chloe sat with me most of the time and asked questions and was upset with the stepmothers or witches for being "mean". When Snow White held up the apple and said, "Should I?" Chloe yelled out, along with everyone else, "NO! Don't do it!" It was really fun. Claire couldn't believe that Aladdin and Jasmine were really on a magic carpet and that the fairy godmother could really float/fly. She was like, "How are they doing that?" Oh to be a child again. Collin was concerned that they left Cinderella out after the first half. We broke for a brief intermission and concluded with a huge Cinderella rendition and a ball including all the princesses. Joel was really impressed. I told him, Disney always does it right! He really enjoyed the pyrotechnics. I really recommend the show! It was great fun! :)
