I went strawberry picking a few weeks ago. It was my first time. Man, they were good. They were the best I have ever had. I was pretty sore too from picking them. It was good exercise. I froze some and then I made some freezer jam with some friends. Again- another first for me. That was delicious as well. I think it will be a tradition now. It tasted so fresh. It is almost gone already. Next is blueberry picking. Anybody have any blueberry recipes?

We go twice every summer and pick as many blueberries as we can. I just freeze them in quart ziploc bags b/c the kids LOVE to eat them frozen as a snack. And, the rest we throw in fruit smoothies throughout the year. I also freeze whole strawberries for smoothies too.
