My roommate from 1994 came to visit on Wednesday. They currently live in Texas and we haven't seen each other for 3 years! We both have new children we have never met. They were able to come visit us at our house which is such an honor to me! I was in her wedding 12 years ago. Man, it really seems like I am getting old! I am trying to talk Joel into a trip to Texas next year!
The kids really seemed to get along as well. Alana and Claire are both the same age and Lucas and Collin are the same age. They are definitely taller than my kids, but they owe that to their dad! We were able to meet them at the zoo on Thursday morning to spend a little more time with them.
