We had the Children of the World sing at our church Sunday night. Children of the World not only ministers through song and testimony, but also raises awareness and inspires individuals to get involved in ministry opportunities across the globe.
We were able to host 2 of the girls at our house from Sunday night through this morning. Monday was their rest day and they basically just hung out at our house all day. We were able to play outside a little bit. We had Mars (10) from the Phillipines and Hellen (8) from Uganda staying with us. It was an experience I hope my kids never forget. It wasn't exactly what I expected. The girls were very shy and wanted mostly to watch a few of our Barbie movies from our collection. They are only allowed to watch G rated movies. Joel entertained the girls with a game of find the thimble after dinner. All the kids enjoyed this.
