Trick or Treat

Last night I took the kids trick or treating in Morral. It was good. We really walked a lot and I didn't bring a stroller or wagon. Chloe did great. She wanted me to carry her sometimes, but I would say, "Let's run" and she would get excited and forget about wanting me to carry her. Now we have way too much candy. I can't wait to get it out of the house. I am so tired of the kids begging for candy every 5 minutes! (We don't usually have candy in the house)

One of the houses passed out a little tract called, A Pumpkin Tale. It is actually a pretty nice tract. When we got home from begging for candy, we were sorting the candy on the floor. I read this little tract to the kids as they were enjoying some of their treats. When I read the line when Sarah said she wanted God's light to shine in her heart, Claire said she did too. She has been expressing this too me over the last few months. I wanted to make sure she understood everything before taking it further. She would ask questions while we were driving or something and I couldn't really look at her when she was talking. Anyway. Claire prayed with me last night and she told Joel this morning that she asked God to live in her heart. Who knew that Halloween would be the day that Claire asked Jesus into her heart!

Hurrah!! Great news - rejoicing with you today:)

That story in tract form - I knew they had to have it out there somewhere! I was looking for that for our church's fun day. I looked all over the web but couldn't find it - obviously googled wrong. (We have the book.) Thanks for the link! We will be getting some of those for next year.

Super cool! It is wonderful to know that a TT tract can make a difference; usually it is the butt of jokes, along with a tract 'tip' for the waitress...
Yay!
