Happy Birthday, Joel!

Today Joel turns 43. It is hard to believe. Joel and I had a date night last week, so tonight he gets his choice for dinner and dessert. He chose my mom's Chicken Divine and Peach Pie a la mode. I have never made a peach pie before, but it should be good!

There are a lot of things I appreciate about Joel that I don't say that often! He is a great father and husband. I am lucky that he comes home for lunch most days. It is a real blessing. I really like that he takes the trash out without ever being asked! He is a neat freak. I appreciate this so much. I never have to clean up after him, only myself and the kids! He inspires me to be a better wife and mother. He takes pride in our house and yard. He is very handy! He never leaves anything half finished. He fixes things very promptly in our house. He is great at hanging pictures too! He lets me be the remote queen in our house. What more could I ask for?

Claire loves to get hug, hugs from her daddy. Collin loves to be tickled by daddy and Chloe loves her daddun. They all know their daddy is a farmer and recognize tractors and sprayers 'like daddy's'. Chloe saw a combine in a book and said, 'daddun'.
