Since Claire is allergic to milk I am always looking for dairy free recipes or a way I can make them dairy free. I saw this recipe in one of my cooking for kids magazines. You fill the ice cream cones with 2 tablespoons of brownie mix and bake! This is the first time I have made them, so I had to monitor the time. I frosted them with frosting and added sprinkles. Actually, the box of ice cream cones had a similar recipe on it, but you actually top the brownie with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with hot fudge. Sounds messy to me! This turned out to be a great snack for the kids after Claire's first day of school. I hope they don't expect this every day! :)

They look good! I tried this once for a birthday party - they were going to be the corners of a castle cake - but the cones totally burned! Maybe it was because they were colored cones? Anyway, it smoked up the whole house & I vowed never again.
HAVE to comment on that date Joel romanced you with before you got married. Taking your woman to a giant revolving ball - how obscene, geeesh!!!! I never would've taken Joel to be THAT knd of guy.:)
I don't know why that would have happened? I baked them at 350 for 20 minutes and ended up going for about 15 minutes more.
The date to the moving ball was one of our more exciting dates! :)
